Salt Spring Forum Presents Thomas Homer-Dixon

The Salt Spring Forum hosts Canadian academic Thomas Homer-Dixon, the author of “The Upside of Down: Catastrophe, Creativity, and the Renewal of Civilization” and “The Ingenuity Gap”.

Thomas Homer-Dixon holds the CIGI Chair of Global Systems at the Balsillie School of International Affairs in Waterloo. He is also Associate Director of the Waterloo Institute for Complexity and Innovation and Professor in the Faculty of Environment at the University of Waterloo.

No one has thought more about the following question than Thomas Homer Dixon: can the human species innovate its way out of the climate change crisis? Let’s discuss this important question together.
